Abstract:
This refrigeration cycle device is provided with a compressor (1), a radiator (2), a depressurization device (3), an evaporator (4), and a variable restriction mechanism (5). The variable restriction mechanism is disposed in a refrigerant channel (10) that connects the evaporator and the compressor and is configured so as to be able to change the cross-sectional channel area of the refrigerant channel. The radiator comprises a plurality of tubes (24) and a header tank (22). A refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows through the plurality of tubes, and the plurality of tubes are layered in a layering direction. The header tank is disposed at an end-section side in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of tubes and communicates with the plurality of tubes. The inner tank space of the header tank is divided into a plurality of sections (221, 222) arranged in the layering direction. The header tank includes an opening and closing mechanism (7) that opens and closes a communicating section (72) that allows communication between adjacent sections of the plurality of sections.
