Abstract:
The present invention provides a highly reliable refrigeration cycle device by avoiding the liquid return phenomenon during pre-cooling operation that is performed after the end of defrosting operation. This refrigeration cycle device comprises: a refrigerant circuit that is configured by a compressor 5, a condenser 6, a receiver 8, an expansion valve 10, an evaporator 11, and an accumulator 13 being sequentially connected; a defrosting means 24 for melting frost adhering to the evaporator 11; and a control means 30 for selecting either cooling operation, defrosting operation, or pre-cooling operation. In the pre-cooling operation, a predetermined amount of refrigerant is held in the receiver 8 so that the amount of refrigerant circulating through the refrigerant circuit is less than that in the cooling operation and the defrosting operation.
