Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle device whereby it becomes possible to prevent the occurrence of a disproportionation reaction of a working medium. The refrigeration cycle device (1) is provided with a control device (3) for controlling a compressor (4) in a refrigeration cycle circuit through which a working medium is circulated. The working medium contains an ethylene-based fluoroolefin as a refrigerant component. The compressor (4) is provided with: an airtight container (40) that constitutes a flow path for the working medium; and a compressing mechanism (41) and an electric motor (42) both positioned in the airtight container (40). The control device (3) is provided with: a driving circuit (31) for driving the electric motor (42); a state-detecting circuit (32) for detecting the state of at least one of the compressor (4) and the driving circuit (31); a temperature-measuring circuit (33) for measuring the internal temperature of the airtight container (40); and a control circuit (34) for controlling the driving circuit (31). The control circuit (34) halts the operation of the driving circuit (31) on the basis of the state detected by the state-detecting circuit (32), i.e., when an abnormality is detected in at least one of the compressor (4) and the driving circuit (31) and the internal temperature measured by the temperature-measuring circuit (33) is higher than a predetermined temperature.
