Abstract:

The present invention provides a refrigeration cycle system which is reduced in production cost in comparison to conventional refrigeration cycle systems, while being reduced in pressure loss. A refrigeration cycle system (100) according to the present invention is provided with: an outdoor unit (10); a relay unit (30) which is connected to the outdoor unit (10) via a first pipe conduit (1) and a second pipe conduit (2); a first indoor unit (20a) which is connected to the relay unit (30) via a third pipe conduit (3a) and a fourth pipe conduit (4a); and a second indoor unit (20b) which is connected to the relay unit (30) via a fifth pipe conduit (3b) and a sixth pipe conduit (4b). A coolant circuit comprises a compressor (11), a first heat exchanger (13), a second heat exchanger (21a), a third heat exchanger (22a) and a six-way valve (12). The six-way valve (12) makes a switch between a first state where the first heat exchanger (13) functions as a condenser and at least the second heat exchanger (21a) functions as an evaporator and a second state where the first heat exchanger (13) functions as an evaporator and at least the second heat exchanger (21a) functions as a condenser.
