Abstract:
A usage-side unit (12) has a usage-side heat exchanger (51) and an expansion valve circuit unit (52). The expansion valve circuit unit (52) has: a temperature-sensitive usage-side expansion valve (53); a main pipe (60) for channeling a refrigerant between the usage-side heat exchanger (51) and a liquid-side connection pipe (13) via the usage-side expansion valve (53); a bypass pipe (70) for channeling a refrigerant between the usage-side heat exchanger (51) and the liquid-side connection pipe (13) so as to bypass the main pipe (60); and a switching mechanism (54) for switching the opening/closing of the main pipe (60) and the opening/closing of the bypass pipe (70).
