Abstract:

This refrigeration device has: a main refrigerant circuit that includes a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, a load-side expansion valve, and a load-side heat exchanger; a hot gas refrigerant circuit that branches from the main refrigerant circuit on the discharge side of the compressor, and converges with the main refrigerant circuit on the downstream side of the load-side expansion valve; a drain pan circuit that branches from the main refrigerant circuit between the load-side expansion valve and the load-side heat exchanger, and converges with the main refrigerant circuit on the downstream side of the load-side heat exchanger; a drain pan that is provided under the load-side heat exchanger and makes contact with the drain pan circuit piping; and a control unit that switches the flow path of the refrigerant in accordance with the operating state. The control unit has: a heat exchanger defrosting means that switches the flow path of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor from the main refrigerant circuit to the hot gas refrigerant circuit when operation is switched from a cooling operation to a defrosting operation; and a drain pain defrosting means that switches the flow path of the refrigerant supplied from the hot gas refrigerant circuit from the load-side heat exchanger to the drain pan circuit after the load-side heat exchanger has been defrosted.
