Abstract:
A refrigerator and a control method therefor. The refrigerator is provided with an evaporator, and a defrosting sensor arranged in the evaporator. The control method comprises: acquiring a temperature change record of a defrosting sensor, wherein the temperature change record is used for indicating a measurement value of the defrosting sensor during a set time period when a compressor of a refrigerator enters a shutdown state; determining, according to the temperature change record, whether an evaporator meets a condition for starting defrosting; and if so, starting defrosting. According to the refrigerator in the present invention, a new defrosting determination method is provided. Insofar as no extra hardware structure is added, an accurate start of defrosting can be realized by using a simple method, thereby reducing or avoiding problems such as an evaporator performing defrosting in advance, the duration of defrosting being excessively long, the frequency of defrosting being high and the effect of refrigeration being poor. The refrigerator has the advantages of having a simple structure and saving on hardware costs.
