A refrigerator (10), comprising: a refrigeration chamber (12); small refrigeration chambers (20) formed by dividing the interior of the refrigeration chamber (12); a small refrigeration chamber temperature sensor (22) used for measuring the indoor temperature of each small refrigeration chamber (20); a cooling chamber (115) that cools, by means of a cooler (116), air blown to the small refrigeration chamber (12); a heating portion (117), configured to defrost the cooler (116) by means of heating; a blower (25) that blows air from the cooling chamber (115) to the refrigeration chamber (12); and a calculation control portion (26). In addition, the calculation control portion (26) performs cooling cycle, and the cooler (116) and the blower (25) are operated, so that the indoor temperature of the small refrigeration chamber (20) measured by the small refrigeration chamber temperature sensor (22) is below a first upper limit temperature and above a first lower limit temperature; and the calculation control portion (26) reduces the first lower limit temperature in the cooling cycle when a defrosting operation is about to be performed. The refrigerator (10) can accurately control the temperature of the small refrigeration chamber (20).
