Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a refrigerator control system that prevents the power consumption of a refrigerator from increasing and the temperature inside the refrigerator from rising due to a defrosting process being performed when there is no need to defrost. The refrigerator control system comprises: an estimated defrosting time calculation unit that calculates an estimated defrosting time at the time of determining whether defrosting is necessary, by using an estimation model; and a defrosting operation control unit that executes a defrosting operation at the time of determining whether defrosting is necessary, when the estimated defrosting time at the time of determining whether defrosting is necessary is longer than or equal to a predetermined threshold, and suspends the execution of the defrosting operation until a predetermined suspension time has elapsed from the time of determining whether defrosting is necessary, when the estimated defrosting time at the time of determining whether defrosting is necessary is shorter than the predetermined threshold.
