Abstract:
Disclosed is a refrigerator oil which has proper compatibility with a refrigerant 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene and proper solubility in the refrigerant 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene, can keep its viscosity at such a level that lubricity is not deteriorated, enables the reduction in the amount of a refrigerant to be filled in a refrigerator, and has excellent stability, lubricity and the like.
Specifically disclosed is a refrigerator oil for a refrigerant 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene, which comprises an ester of at least one component selected from neopentyl glycol, trimethylol propane, pentaerythritol and dipentaerythritol and at least one component selected from monovalent fatty acids each having 7 to 9 carbon atoms as the main ingredient, and has a kinematic viscosity of 5 to 300 mm2/s at 40˚C, an iodine value of 10 g I2/100 g or less and a total acid value of 0.1 mg KOH/g or less.
