Abstract:
The refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a cooling part for cooling an object to be cooled through heat exchange with a refrigerant; an expander integrated compressor in which a compressor for compressing the refrigerant is integrated with an expander for expanding the refrigerant; and a refrigerant circulating line configured to circulate the refrigerant therethrough via the compressor, the expander, and the cooling part. The compressor is formed of a low-stage compressor, an intermediate-stage compressor, and a high-stage compressor, which are provided in series in the refrigerant circulating line. The expander integrated compressor includes the intermediate-stage compressor, the expander for adiabatically expanding and cooling the refrigerant discharged from the intermediate-stage compressor, a first motor having an output shaft connected to the intermediate-stage compressor and the expander, at least one non-contact type bearing which is placed between the intermediate-stage compressor and the expander and which is used for supporting the output shaft of the first motor in a non-contact manner, and a casing housing the intermediate-stage compressor, the expander, and the at least one non-contact type bearing.
