Abstract:
The present invention achieves inexpensive and appropriate temperature compensation for a weight sensor in a refrigerator. A refrigerator (10) comprises: a temperature sensor (122) which is provided in a storage chamber; a placement part which is provided in the storage chamber and onto which articles are placed; a weight sensor (160) which outputs a measurement signal (V) according to the weight of an article placed on the placement part; a cooling part (150) which cools the storage chamber; a temperature designation part (142) via which a set temperature or a set temperature range for the storage chamber can be freely designated with a plurality of stages; a temperature control part (62) which controls the cooling part (150) so that the temperature (T) detected by the temperature sensor (122) approaches the set temperature or the set temperature range; and a computer (128, 138) which uses the measurement signal (V) to output an estimated weight of the article placed on the placement part, wherein the computer (128, 138) carries out temperature compensation in which the estimated weight varies in accordance to the set temperature or the set temperature range, even for the same measurement signal (V).
