Provided are a refrigerator, and sterilization control methods therefor. The refrigerator comprises a refrigerator body, a door body, a storage device, a sterilization device, a first sensing assembly, a second sensing assembly, and a controller. The first sensing assembly is configured to test the state of the door body; and the second sensing assembly is configured to test the state of drawers. The controller is configured to: if the door body is opened and the drawers are closed, control the sterilization device to be turned off after a first preset time of being on; if the door body is closed and the drawers are closed, control the sterilization device to be turned on; and if the door body is opened and the drawers are opened, control the sterilization device to be turned off; and determine an illumination intensity level according to a target distance, and control the sterilization device to perform sterilization at the illumination intensity level.
