Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerator comprising a capacitor (21), a compressor (22), an evaporation dish (23), an electrical component (24), a cooling centrifugal fan (25a), and a fan casing (25b) that accommodates the centrifugal fan (25a), these elements being provided in a machinery chamber (Q) provided in the bottom section of a refrigerator body, the refrigerator being configured such that air is taken in and expelled from an intake port (27a) and a dishcarge port (28a), which are provided in the front surface of the machinery chamber (Q), by the centrifugal fan (25a) to cool the capacitor (21) and the compressor (22), wherein an intake flow path (27) in which the intake port (27a) is formed, the compressor (22), the centrifugal fan (25a) and fan casing (25b), and a discharge flow path (28) in which the discharge port (28a) is formed are disposed in the stated order along the direction in which the air flows, the capacitor (21) being provided within the intake flow path (27), and the evaporation dish (23) being provided within the discharge flow path (28).
