Abstract:
A refrigerator (1) in which visibility work efficiency is improved and a lighting function to give to food stuffs tastefulness is added. As for the lighting device in the refrigerator, one bulb of a low output or two at the most have heretofore been provided on a wall surface at the depth of the refrigerator, so that the foodstuffs and the displays thereof have been difficult to observe due to the darkness. This invention has solved this problem by mounting continuous type lamps (6) on a ceiling surface (4) in the refrigerator and/or in front of the bottom surface of a tray (5) across the whole width and, further, by mounting a reflecting and shielding plate (7) in front of the lamps (6). The value of utilization as the home use refrigerators and the industrial refrigerator is great.
