Abstract:
A refrigerator provided with a storage compartment (2) for storing an object to be stored, LEDs (3) arranged in the top-bottom direction on the front of both side walls (8) of the storage compartment (2), and light guide plates (20) arranged along both the side walls (8) of the storage compartment (2) and guiding to the rear of the storage compartment (2) the light emitted from the LEDs (3). The inside of the storage compartment (2) is illuminated by the light guided by the light guide plates (20) and emitted from the light guide plates (20).
