Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerator in which communication between a wireless communication device and an external device is not hindered by a hinge portion when the external device is located in front of the refrigerator. A refrigerator (1) comprising: a housing (2) inside which a storage space (23) is formed and an opening is formed in front of the storage space (23); an opening/closing door (3) that is provided in front of the storage space (23) and opens/closes the opening; an antenna unit (111) that is fixed to the opening/closing door (3a) and transmits and receives electromagnetic waves to and from an external device (200); a cooling device (5) that supplies cooled air to the storage space (23); a control device (8) that controls the cooling device (5) and is fixed to the housing (2); and a connection line (10) that communicably connects the antenna unit (111) and the control device (8), wherein the opening/closing door (3a) has a front plate (31) that is formed of a metal material and faces the space outside the storage space (23), and an operation unit cover (93) that is formed of a non-conductive material and faces the space outside the storage space (23), and the antenna unit (111) is fixed at a position where it overlaps with the operation unit cover (93) without overlapping with the front plate (31) when the refrigerator (1) is viewed from the front.
