Abstract:
A refrigerator may comprise: a body which includes a storage compartment including a first storage compartment and a second storage compartment, and a partition wall dividing the storage compartment into the first storage compartment and the second storage compartment; a first control valve which is provided to control the flow of water supplied from an external water source; an icemaker which is connected to the first control valve and provided to make ice by using water discharged from the first control valve; a second control valve which is connected to the first control valve and provided to control the flow of water discharged from the first control valve; a dispenser which includes an operation lever, is connected to the second control valve by the manipulation of the operation lever, and supplies water supplied from the second control valve; and an automatic water supply device which is connected to the second control valve, supplies a water tank with water supplied from the second control valve, and controls the water supply such that the water tank is filled with a predetermined amount of water, wherein the first control valve selectively guides water, supplied from the external water source, to the icemaker or the second control valve, and the second control valve selectively guides water, supplied from the first control valve, to the dispenser or the automatic water supply device.
