Abstract:
A refrigerator of which an evaporator can be appropriately installed with high efficiency. The refrigerator has an evaporator (20) and a water catching surface (30). The evaporator (20) is provided with a heat exchange pipe (26) extending up and down while turning back left and right, and a support member (22) for supporting the heat exchange pipe (26) at the turning areas on the left and right sides. The water catching surface (30) is arranged below the evaporator (20) and catches the liquid falling from the evaporator (20). The support member (22) extends downward and beyond the heat exchange pipe (26), and the lower end of the lower side area (22A) of the support member (22) is connected to the water catching surface (30).
