Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problems of improving labor and time required for item registration work, and allowing a checkout staff to be aware of the recognition result. In order to solve the problem, the present invention provides a registration device (10) comprising: an image acquisition unit (11) that acquires an image obtained by photographing a placement surface of a stand on which an item is placed; an analysis unit (12) that recognizes the item included in the image; a registration unit (14) that registers the recognized item as an object to be checked out; and an output unit (13) that outputs the name of the recognized item by voice.
