The purpose of the present disclosure is to make it easy to associate apparatus ID with lighting apparatus installation location data. The registration method has a repetition step, a third step, and a fourth step. In a second step, at least some lighting apparatuses (5) among multiple lighting apparatuses (5) are imaged by an imaging device (3) when a state regarding the lighting of a lighting apparatus (5) to be controlled is changed by a control signal transmitted in a first step. In the third step, the installation location of the lighting apparatus (5) to be controlled in the installation data is obtained on the basis of information regarding the position and direction of the imaging device (3) and an image generated by the imaging device (3), and the association of the lighting apparatus (5) to be controlled with an apparatus ID is determined.
