Abstract:
Provided are a regulation device, an acoustic output device, and a regulation method with which it is possible to provide accurate information to a driver while suppressing noise to the surroundings. A regulation device according to an embodiment of the present invention provides regulation information relating to traffic on a road. This regulation device comprises: a display unit that visually provides the regulation information in a first direction; a regulation sound reproduction unit that generates a regulation acoustic signal forming regulation acoustics which auditorily represent the regulation information; and an environment sound acquisition unit that acquires a surrounding environment sound and outputs the sound as an environment sound signal. This regulation device further comprises an acoustic output unit that has a first directivity directed in the first direction and a second directivity directed in a second direction different from the first direction, outputs the regulation acoustics with the first directivity on the basis of the regulation acoustic signal, and outputs the environment sound with the second directivity on the basis of the environment sound signal.
