Abstract:

This reinforced fiber tape material is for use in resin injection molding, has reinforced fiber strands, and comprises reinforced fibers composed of the reinforced fiber strands and/or a plurality of the reinforced fiber strands bound together and integrated by a resin material provided on at least one of the surfaces of the reinforced fiber strands and a resin material with a softening point different from the resin material provided on one of the surfaces and is characterized in that both resin materials have matrix resin permeability. The invention is also a production method for this material, a fiber reinforced resin molded body and a reinforced fiber layered body using this reinforced fiber tape material. In particular, by producing a sheet base material or a pre-shaped body by the fiber placement method adhesion to and placement in a tool is straightforward so the resin pour time can be shortened in the resin injection step. In addition, a reinforced fiber tape material having excellent shapeability and, in a subsequent molding step, excellent resin impregnatability, as well as a layered sheet base material thereof, and a molded article can be obtained.
