Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reinforcing bar coupler, in which a gripping means provided therein comprises first slits, cut from one end toward the other end, and second slits, cut from the other end toward the one end, wherein the first and second slits are formed alternately from the two ends at regular intervals around the circumference, allowing radial contraction of the gripping means and thereby enabling a single gripping means to grip both of the two reinforcing bars.
