Abstract:
A relay device for performing relay between a plurality of radio devices for performing radio communication with terminals and one or more radio control devices for controlling the radio devices, the relay device is provided with: a duplication necessity determination unit for determining duplication necessity of a downlink signal received from the radio control device; a signal duplication unit for making the same number of duplications of only a downlink signal that the duplication necessity determination unit determines that duplication is necessary as the radio devices to be destinations; and a downlink signal distribution unit for transferring each of the downlink signal that the duplication necessity determination unit determines that duplication is unnecessary and the downlink signal duplicated by the signal duplication unit to a corresponding radio device.
