Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application is a relay transmission method. The method comprises: establishing a first protocol data unit session connection between a relay and a network; establishing a second protocol data unit session connection between a first relay and a user equipment; and according to a multi-path transmission control protocol connection between the user equipment and a non-third generation partnership project interworking function entity, making the user equipment connect to the network via both the first relay and a second relay when performing signal transmission with the network. A multi-path capability is supported by means of a multi-path transmission control protocol proxy of a non-third generation partnership project interworking function entity; the capacity of a cellular system and the reliability of a connection can be improved by means of a multi-relay path; and the present invention can be applied to ultra-reliable and low latency business and vertical industry applications, and cloud network edge device home applications, such that the problem of how a remote UE establishes a multi-relay-based multi-path connection with a network is solved, and the existing capacity of a 5G+ cellular system is improved, thereby realizing the high-frequency coverage of a cellular network.
