The present application discloses a relay, and enhances the ability of the relay to resist an electromagnetic repulsion force generated by a lightning current. The relay of the present application comprises: plug-in contact terminal structures, a relay framework, and a relay opening and closing structure. There is at least one pair of the plug-in contact terminal structures. The plug-in contact terminal structures comprise a male contact terminal and a female contact terminal. The male contact terminal and the female contact terminal are made of a conductive metal material. The female contact terminal comprises a contact terminal base and a side wall. The contact terminal base is connected to the side wall, and the side wall encloses and forms a receptacle of the female contact terminal. The male contact terminal matches the receptacle of the female contact terminal. The relay opening and closing structure is used to control plugging or unplugging of the male contact terminal into or from the receptacle of the female contact terminal. When the male contact terminal is plugged into the receptacle of the female contact terminal, a surface of the male contact terminal that is in contact with the side wall faces an inner portion of the receptacle of the female contact terminal.
