Abstract:
The present invention is a release agent composition for tire molding containing: (A) an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity at 25°C of 10,000 mPa・s or higher and containing at least two hydroxy groups each bonded to a silicon atom per molecule: 100 mass parts; (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms each bonded to a silicon atom per molecule: 10-100 mass parts per 100 mass parts of component (A); (C) water: 10-10,000 mass parts per 100 mass parts of component (A); and (D) polyvinyl alcohol: 2-70 mass parts per 100 mass parts of component (A). Provided thereby is a release agent composition for tire molding having an excellent release property that enables tires to be molded and vulcanized continuously in a far larger number than in the past once the release agent has been applied without reapplying the release agent.
