Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a reliable broadcast (RBC)-based re-votable binary consensus method and a Byzantine fault tolerance method, applied to any one of N consensus nodes. The consensus method comprises: determining, for a to-be-consensus proposal of any consensus node, an initial voting value of the to-be-consensus proposal; when the initial voting value is any other voting value and meets a preset condition, re-determining the initial voting value as a priority voting value; broadcasting a first-round voting value to other nodes in the N consensus nodes on the basis of a RBC protocol; and determining a consensus situation of the to-be-consensus proposal on the basis of the first-round voting value broadcasted by other consensus nodes. Thus, each consensus node can quickly reach a consensus on the to-be-consensus proposal, and the security of the consensus process is improved; in addition, if an unconditionally secure RBC protocol is used, the binary consensus method and the Byzantine fault tolerance method are also unconditionally secure.
