Abstract:
Use of a polygonum capitatum granular preparation in the preparation of drugs for clearing heat and promoting diuresis, inducing diuresis for treating stranguria, treating urinary tract infection or stones, treating pyelonephritis, detoxifying, dissipating blood stasis, resisting bacteria, resisting inflammation, easing pain, and resisting prostatitis. The method for preparing a polygonum capitatum granular preparation comprises the following steps: weighing 1 part by weight of polygonum capitatum, decocting twice, adding water having a weight 6-8 times that of medicinal materials for the first time, decocting for 1.5 hours, and filtering to obtain filtrate for later use; adding water having a weight 5-7 times that of the medicinal materials for the second time, decocting for 1.5 hours, and filtering; adding 0.5% of acetic acid into the water; combining the two filtrates, uniformly mixing, performing reduced pressure concentration, performing spray drying so that the water content is lower than 4%, and obtaining powdery dry paste; and uniformly mixing 1 part by weight of dry paste with 0.1-0.2 parts by weight of dextrin, and performing dry granulation on a dry granulator to obtain a polygonum capitatum granular preparation.
