Abstract:

A drug containing as the active ingredient a 4-acylaminotetrahydrofuro[2,3-b]quinoline derivative represented by general formula (I), an acid-addition salt thereof, or a hydrate or (where solvate thereof, in R1 represents C2-C6 alkyl, etc.; and R2 and R3 represent each hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl). As the derivative has a protective action on delayed neuron death caused by cerebral ischemia, it is useful as a remedy and preventive for cerebrovascular disorder, head injury, postencephalitic sequela, and the like.
