Abstract:
The present invention relates to a remote control system and method utilizing ultra-wideband (UWB). The remote control system may comprise: a display device including a first UWB anchor using UWB communication; a second UWB anchor using UWB communication and disposed to be spaced apart from the first UWB anchor by a predetermined distance or more; and a remote controller, wherein relative coordinates of the remote controller are identified using UWB communication, and a direction toward which the remote controller is directed is identified using a 9-axis sensor value, so as to select and control a device to be controlled.
