TECHNICAL FIELD

My invention related to the technical field of IR (infra red) remote control of home entertainment equipments, including: televisor, cable-box converter, satellite receiver, VCR machine, DVD machine and similar apparatus.

BACKGROUND OF MY INVENTION

The remote controller of televisors and similar equipment is commonly used. With these controllers, user can conveniently control a televisor or VCR, VCD, DVD and any kind of entertainment equipments to be on, off, jumping to a certain piece of program such as a song, a video program or a certain channel, and , volume up or down. But there are two things make users feel inconvenient to make full use of there entertainment equipments. The one is that, in case of the entertainment programs are provided by a variety of program providers, users have to select again the channels of the entertainment equipment such as a TV, Cable box, or a Satellite signal receiver, when their disliked program on air or when their favorite program on air in other channel. Another one is that, in case of the entertainment program is provided by user's own media such as a VCR tape, or a VCD or DVD disk, the user want these entertainment equipments such as a DVD player, a VCR, a VCD player can act automatically to provide sounds of their favorite music when they just wake up on bed or back in home tired as usual.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

With the aid of the new invented remote controller, user can get two main advantages. The first, they can use it as a normal remote controller with all there most used function buttons, such as power on, off, volume up, down, AV/TV switch, mute, channel number buttons, next or last episode, play, fast move...., more over, there is a button enable them to switch the function of the whole remote controller act as a TV remote controller, a DVD remote controller, a cable box controller.... etc.

The second, through the LCD display unit on this invented remote controller, user can set any time in the future and any function command of this remote controller so that, the remote controller will act automatically and accordingly when their set time is on. More over, they can also set the action type: once, every this time of day, week, month or year. They can save as much this kind of records as they need in the invented remote controller.

To avoid any wrong action of the remote controller, while the user use the controller to control their entertainment equipments, the controller can save and remember the state of the controlled equipments, such as on, off, digital length of the channel number etc.

However, the invented remote controller has another function maybe useful; they can act like a time reminder.

The remote controller has a buzzer, which will give a short alarm sound when the controller act automatically according to the time records in its memory.

The buzzer can also issue both short and long alarm sound in case of the user want

the remote controller alarmed to remind them of something on a certain time, the buzzer should issue long alarm sound like a clock, that is it will not stop if no key pressed.
