Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the level of contamination of a radioactively contaminated paint coating on the surface of concrete in a nuclear facility, and decontaminating the radioactively contaminated paint coating. The apparatus for decontaminating the radioactively contaminated paint coating on the surface of the concrete comprises: a remote moving part that can be moved by remote control; a moving carriage that is supported by the remote moving part and can move up and down and back and forth; a contamination measurement part that can move while supported by the moving carriage and measure the level of radioactive contamination of the paint coating on the surface of the concrete; a decontamination part that can move while supported by the moving carriage and decontaminate the radioactively contaminated paint coating on the surface of the concrete; and a control unit for controlling the remote moving part, the moving carriage, the contamination measurement part, and the decontamination part. According to the above configuration, the remote decontamination apparatus for decontaminating the radioactively contaminated paint coating on the surface of the concrete may be provided, wherein the apparatus can measure the contamination of the radioactive paint coating on the surface of the concrete in the nuclear facility, minimize secondary waste by effectively removing only the paint coating on the surface of the concrete at contaminated locations, and remove fumes generated during decontamination, and can minimize the exposure of workers to radiation through unmanned operations.
