Abstract:
A remote machine operation system (100) according to the present disclosure comprises: an image-capture unit (26) that captures images of a remotely operated remote machine (2); and a visual presentation device (1) that receives video captured by the image-capture unit (26) and displays the received video so as to present the video to an operator who operates the remote machine (2). The visual presentation device (1) comprises: a communication situation monitoring unit (11) that detects the communication situation for reception of the video; and a presented video control unit (12) that determines a center visual field area and a peripheral visual field area for a display area in which the video is to be displayed and, on the basis of the communication situation detected by the communication situation monitoring unit (11), determines video parameters related to the transmission rates for center visual field video that is to be displayed in the center visual field area and peripheral visual field video that is to be displayed in the peripheral visual field area.
