Abstract:
A remote maintenance system (S) includes a bill sorter (2) connected to a network (N) and a maintainer terminal (1) communicable with the bill sorter (2) via the network (N). The maintainer terminal (1) includes: an input unit that receives an operation request in remote maintenance of the bill sorter (2) by the maintainer; a control unit that in response to the operation request received via the input unit, inputs a command to the bill sorter (2) via the network (N) and that acquires, from the bill sorter (2), the condition of the bill sorter (2) under a control in response to the command; and an output unit that outputs the condition of the bill sorter (2) acquired by the control unit. The bill sorter (2) includes a control unit that controls the bill sorter (2) in response to the command input by the maintainer terminal (1) and that acquires the condition of the bill sorter (2) under the control.
