Abstract:
This remote monitoring support device (120) is configured to obtain a floor signal indicating the floor where the cage (102) of an elevator (101) is positioned from a control board (110) that controls operation of the elevator (101); to determine on the basis of the obtained floor signal whether or not the floor indicated by the floor signal has been constant for a prescribed time; each time it is determined that the floor indicated by the floor signal has been constant for a prescribed time, to count the number of times the cage has stopped at the floor indicated by the floor signal; and to store, for each floor, the counted number of times stopped. If a diagnostic command is received from a management server computer (130), this remote monitoring support device (120) sends to the management server computer (130) information relating to the number of times stopped at each floor stored in a memory (203).
