Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a rendering method. The method is applied to a terminal device, and the method comprises: acquiring texture information of an illumination probe in a virtual scenario to be rendered; performing illumination calculation on the virtual scenario according to the texture information of the illumination probe, so as to obtain a first irradiance map, wherein the resolution of the first irradiance map is lower than a resolution which is required for a rendering result of the virtual scenario; and performing up-sampling on the first irradiance map, so as to obtain a second irradiance map, wherein the resolution of the second irradiance map is the same as the resolution which is required for the rendering result of the virtual scenario, and the second irradiance map is used for performing indirect light rendering on the virtual scenario. In the present application, calculation overheads can be reduced by means of rendering a resolution-reduced irradiance map (a first irradiance map), such that an application can run in real time on the premise of having the effect of global illumination.
