Abstract:
The present invention provides: a water/oil repelling agent composition that yields an article having excellent water repellency; a method for producing same; and an article treated with the water/oil repelling agent composition. This water/oil repelling agent composition contains a polymer in which the total proportion of units (a) derived from a monomer (a), units (b) derived from a monomer (b) and units (c) derived from a monomer (c) is 95 mol% or more of all units. In this production method, a monomer component in which the total proportion of the monomer (a), the monomer (b) and the monomer (c) is 95 mol% or more is polymerized in the presence of a polymerization initiator. Monomer (a): CR1R2=CR3R4. Monomer (b): CH2=CH-Rf. Monomer (c): a vinyl carboxylate ester. R1: F, Cl or H. R2: F or H. R3: F or H. R4: F, H or CF3. At least one of R1 to R4 is F. Rf: a perfluoroalkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
