Abstract:
The resin-coated metal sheet according to the present invention, which is capable of preventing the formation of retort brushing (white spots) and comprises a metal sheet and a resin layer A coating at least one surface of the metal sheet, is characterized in that: the resin layer A contains a polyester resin as a main component; the polyester resin is prepared by blending 30-50 wt% of polyester I having a melting point of 210-256°C with 50-70 wt% of polyester II having a melting point of 215-225°C; and the peak intensity ratios of the resin layer A in X-ray diffraction satisfy requirements (1) and (2):

(I100)II/(I011)II<1.5 (2)
[wherein: (I100)II stands for the maximum peak intensity within a range of 2θ=22.5-24.0° in X-ray diffraction of polyester II; (I100)I stands for the maximum peak intensity within a range of 2θ=25.4-26.7° in X-ray diffraction of polyester I; and (I011)II stands for the maximum peak intensity within a range of 2θ=16.0-18.0° in X-ray diffraction of polyester II].
