Provided are a resin composition which has exceptional thermoformability and with which it is possible to obtain a molded article in which bleed out is suppressed, a dispersion medium with which it is possible to obtain such a resin composition, a laminate in which the resin composition is used, and a package including the laminate. The present invention is a resin composition (α) that contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and an aliphatic polyester (B) that has a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of 1000-100,000, a melting point of 40-120°C, and a structural unit represented by formula (I), the resin composition being such that the aliphatic polyester (B) content is at least 0.01 part by mass and less than 30 parts by mass per 100 total parts by mass of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and the aliphatic polyester (B). Formula (I): -(CH2)n-OCO- (in formula (I), n represents an integer of 2-6.)
