Abstract:
Provided is a resin composition which does not use a polymer lubricant and is suitable for the formation of a ramp for magnetic disk devices, said ramp having excellent sliding properties and wear resistance. A resin composition for forming a ramp for magnetic disk devices, which is obtained by dispersing zinc oxide particles in a base polymer, and which is characterized by satisfying the following conditions (A-1) and (A-2).
(A-1) The zinc oxide particles are contained in an amount of from 1.0 part by weight to 5.0 parts by weight (inclusive) per 100 parts by weight of the base polymer.
(A-2) The zinc oxide particles have an average particle diameter of from 0.01 μm to 3.0 μm (inclusive).
