Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a resin composition which contains a xylylenediamine-based polyamide resin and has a shorter crystallization half time, in which the deterioration in the Charpy impact strength thereof can be prevented effectively and the temperature dependence property of the crystallization half time is small; and a molded article formed from the resin composition. Provided is a resin composition comprising a polyamide resin, a reinforcing material and an inorganic crystal nucleating agent, in which the polyamide resin comprises a xylylenediamine-based polyamide resin that contains a constituent unit derived from a diamine and a constituent unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid, 70 mol% or more of the constituent unit derived from the diamine is derived from xylylenediamine and 70 mol% or more of the constituent unit derived from the dicarboxylic acid is derived from an α,ω-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the xylylenediamine-based polyamide resin, the area of the inorganic crystal nucleating agent is more than 8.0 m2/g when measured by a specific surface area measurement method (BET method), and the content of the inorganic crystal nucleating agent is 2.0% by mass or more relative to the mass of the resin composition.
