Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a resin composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which comprises a vinylidene fluoride copolymer that has high adhesion strength to the constituent materials of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, has reduced swelling from electrolytic solutions, and has high solubility to N-methylpyrrolidone. A resin composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that solves the above problem comprises a vinylidene fluoride copolymer which includes vinylidene fluoride-derived structural units and fluorine-containing alkyl vinyl compound-derived structural units. The vinylidene fluoride copolymer has a melting point measured according to ASTM D3418 of 105 to 125°C, and the mass fraction Wa of the fluorine-containing alkyl vinyl compound-derived structural units in the vinylidene fluoride copolymer, the degree of crystallinity DC of the vinylidene fluoride copolymer, and the degree of non-crystallinity DA of the vinylidene fluoride copolymer satisfy formula (1).
