The resin composition production method comprises the step of chemically cross-linking an ionomer (A) of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid based copolymer, in the presence of an organic peroxide (B), and the step of melting and kneading a polyamide resin (C) with the ionomer (A) that has been chemically cross-linked.
