Abstract:
This resin composition production method comprises a step of obtaining a resin composition by kneading with a biaxial extrusion machine equipped with screws, a UV absorber, and a polymer having an alicyclic structure. In the resin composition production method, the screws have three or more kneading zones, in which the ratio Lnx/D between the length Lnx of one of the kneading zones and the screw diameter D is 1.5 or greater. The ratio Ln/D between the kneading zone total length Ln and the screw diameter D is between 6.1 and 18 inclusive. The ratio SR/MFR between the shearing rate SR [sec-1] of the kneading by the biaxial extrusion machine and the melt flow rate MFR [g/10 min] of the obtained resin composition at a temperature of 280°C and a load of 2.16 kg is between 300 and 620 inclusive.
