Abstract:
A resin composition, which comprises an alicyclic structure containing polymer and a hindered amine compound wherein (1) a 5 wt % chloroform solution of the hindered amine compound exhibits a light ray transmittance at 400 nm of 90 % or more, as measured with a cell having an optical path length of 10 mm, and (2) the hindered amine compound has a molecular weight of 1500 or more; and a transparent formed article comprising the resin composition. The transparent formed article is free from the occurrence of abrasion or cloudiness in the surface portion thereof and can retain stable transparency even when it is irradiated with a light ray having a short wave length such as a blue laser having a wave length of 350 nm to 530 nm.
