Abstract:
Provided is a resin foam having excellent dust-proof characteristics and excellent flexibility. This resin foam is characterized by: having an instantaneous recovery rate, as defined, of at least 50%; having a repulsive force at 50% compression of 0.1-4.0 N/cm2; having an average cell diameter of 10-150 µm; and having a maximum cell diameter of no more than 300 µm. Instantaneous recovery rate: The ratio between the thickness of the initial state and the thickness of a sheet resin foam after the compression thereof for one minute in the thickness direction and in an atmosphere of 23°C, such that the thickness thereof is 20% of the initial thickness, then the release of the compressed state in an atmosphere of 23°C, said thickness being measured at 0.6 s after the release of the compressed state.
