Abstract:
Disclosed is an aluminum salt-containing resin powder comprising at least one matrix resin component selected from regenerated collagen, polyvinyl alcohol and carboxy methyl cellulose and an aluminum salt, wherein the aluminum salt is chemically bound to the matrix resin component and the resin powder has a finely granulated form. Also disclosed is a resin composition comprising 0.1 to 80% by weight inclusive of the aluminum salt-containing resin powder and 20 to 99.9% by weight inclusive of a resin other than the aluminum salt-containing resin. It becomes possible to provide an aluminum salt-containing resin powder and a resin composition comprising the resin powder both having a high phosphorous-adsorption property, an high antibacterial activity and an high antifungal activity.
