Provided is a resin sheet that can inhibit absorption of water by a resin composition layer thereof during storage or the like (particularly, absorption of water by a resin composition layer containing semi-fired hydrotalcite or calcium oxide), that enables highly accurate foreign matter inspection in the resin composition layer of the resin sheet using an automated optical appearance inspection device (AOI), and that can suppress warpage when forming the resin composition layer. This resin sheet comprises: a first film, a resin composition layer, and a second film or a glass plate. The resin composition layer is located between the first film and the second film or between the first film and the glass plate. The first film has a monolayer plastic film as a substrate, a barrier layer formed on a surface of the plastic film, and a release layer formed on the surface of the barrier layer not in contact with the plastic film or on the surface of the plastic film not having the barrier layer. The first film is transparent. The water vapor permeability of the first film is 0.01-1 (g/m2/24 hr). The release layer of the first film is in contact with the resin composition layer. The second film does not have a release layer. The water vapor permeability of the second film is less than 0.01 (g/m2/24 hr). The glass plate does not have a release layer.
